AAndre Ordeanu is an associate at Zane D. Smith & Associates, LTD., and has significant experience in all aspects of litigation in both federal and state courts, from the discovery phase through trial and appeal, in commercial litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, employment law, and real estate matters.
Mr. Ordeanu represents various clients seeking to enforce their commercial rights pursuant to the Communications Act of 1934 as well as the Cable and Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992, and has successfully resolved hundreds of cases.
Mr. Ordeanu has represented clients in employment disputes pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the American with Disabilities Act, with successful results for the client. Mr. Ordeanu has also represented businesses in commercial litigation, and successfully defended employers in cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mr. Ordeanu also concentrates his practice in real estate, and has experience in residential and commercial real estate litigation and transactional matters.
Mr. Ordeanu was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He attended the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 2003. While in law school, Mr. Ordeanu was a member of the moot court team that competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
Andre is licensed in the District of Columbia and Illinois, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Central District of Illinois, Southern District of Illinois, Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
